Wheelchair Awareness
This week children form Years 3 and 4 took part in wheelchair awareness training.
Go Kids Go, a specialist national charity, gives training and advice to young wheelchair users and their families across the UK.
The purpose of the training session was to give the pupils a greater insight into the challenges faced by young wheelchair users.
Pupils learnt about a variety of wheelchair sports and experienced key mobility skills such as back wheel balancing.
