Pupils are tasked with speaking to all teachers and pupils to find out what news worthy stories happened in school that week. Pupils then prepare a script and series of questions before filming begins.
The filming takes place on a Friday morning and pupils visit key areas around the school to gather the news. They interview both teachers and pupils about what they have achieved that week in school and are then given the opportunity to edit the show together in the art studio, using Adobe software to create the final news reel.
To date, more than 200 pupils have presented the weekly news show and the website stats highlight the shows popularity, with a regular spike in traffic on Fridays when the show goes live.
