Years Five and Six Visit Beverley Beck

Last Friday, Years 5 and 6 enjoyed a fantastic visit to Beverley Beck.

The children explored one side of the beck, taking in the beautiful scenery and using iPads to capture photographs along the way. From barges and boats to ducks, moorhens, horses and cattle, there was plenty to spot and enjoy throughout the walk.

The group then continued along the bank of the River Hull, where everyone stopped to enjoy lunch together before heading back towards the beck. Using the lock to cross to the opposite side, the children completed their return journey to school with even more opportunities to observe the local environment and wildlife.

A brilliant day of exploration, photography and outdoor learning for Years 5 and 6.
