Senior Choir Concert Memorial Hall Beverley
On Wednesday 17th December the Senior Choir performed at the Beverley Consolidated Charities Christmas lunch.
Pupils were given a very warm welcome by the pensioners who had, earlier in the afternoon, been tucking into a hearty Christmas lunch.
The choir sang a selection of carols and favourite yuletide songs with solos from various members of the choir.
The Chamber Choir formed to sing a touching tribute to the WWI Christmas ceasefire by performing Silent Night in German and English.
The pensioners were in fine voice too and joined the choir with a rousing rendition of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Laughter ensued with the surprise addition of sound effects from the choir, a fun time for everybody.
