Groovy Greeks – Theatre Visit
Dear Parents
As part of our topic on Ancient Greece, we are delighted to tell you that we have arranged for our Y5/6 children to visit Hull New Theatre next week to watch the stage show from Horrible Histories: The Groovy Greeks!
We shall take the train to Hull, next Wednesday morning (11th November) and shall return by train around lunchtime. However, as we are likely to arrive back at school around 1pm, we ask that every child brings a packed lunch that day, rather than booking a hot school meal.
If your child is entitled to a free school meal and you would like us to provide a school packed lunch instead, please indicate this on the form below.
This trip will be heavily subsidised by the school, but we are asking for a voluntary contribution of £5 to help us to cover the costs of the train and theatre tickets.
Please complete the form below and return it to school as soon as possible.
Thank you.
Yours sincerely
Mrs J Sharp
Deputy Head Teacher
