Dear Parents
I would like to thank you and your children for another fantastic half term. We have had many highlights including the Key Stage 2 ‘Songs from the Shows’ which was a huge success and was very highly praised.
Our meadow is looking absolutely stunning at the moment and the children are using it for many projects in school. The Foundation children had a special treat this term when they watched chicks hatching in their classroom.
I would also like to say how proud I am of our Year 6 and Year 2 children who all worked very hard during the recent SATs tests. Well done to you all!
Here are a few dates for your diary so you can plan ahead. The Kingswood Residential will take place on Wednesday 13th June.
We are holding our Sports Day on Monday 18th June if the weather is fine, if it is wet we will hold it on Tuesday 19th June.
Parents will be welcome to watch their children compete from 2.00pm onwards.
The Y1/2 visit to Burnby Hall is on Thursday 21st June and a Foundation visit to Burton Agnes on Tuesday 26th June.
The Raywell Residential is on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th June.
The Key Stage 2 Summer Review will take place on Wednesday 18th July. There will be more information to follow.
The children break up at the end of the school day on Friday 25th May.
I hope you all have a lovely holiday and I look forward to seeing the children back in school on Monday 4th June refreshed and ready for the final half term of the year.
Thank you all for your continued support.
Yours sincerely
Mr L Myers
