Masterchef 2017
Earlier this week all the children in school took part in a Design and Technology project.
The project took the form of a Masterchef competition.
The children had been working on different recipes using different types of food.
As part of the project they were taught-:
about a range of foods
where these foods came from
how to chop, peel and cook the food
Throughout the project the different health and safety aspects of cooking, such as using knives, making sure they had washed their hands and checking surfaces were clean were constantly reinforced.
They were all very creative with their food, coming up with wonderful, visually stimulating mixes of foods.
Using a Gopro camera, two of the 5/6 boys recorded the project and the resulting short film is shown below.
